Hamilton Island Yacht Club Now Open
Inspired by the rich colours of the Coral Sea, marine life
and the soaring silhouette of full sails, the iconic Hamilton
Island Yacht Club is a destination for those who appreciate
international boating excellence.
As a gateway to the Great Barrier Reef's unique beauty,
the club and luxury villas adjoining the marina will offer

The Club was designed by Australian architect Walter Barda
and is set to become an icon across the domestic and international
landscape by reflecting a distinctive and authentic Australian
style. Importantly, they are set to further define Hamilton
Island as an Australian and international boating mecca.
From the tip of the aquamarine leaves of its patina copper
roof, to its expansive cantilevered terraces that stretch
over the waters of the Marina and Dent Passage, it is a
design triumph that will become the centre of lifestyle
and boating for the Islands of the Great Barrier Reef.

Sailing & Yachting
 Hamilton Island has a long and rich sailing history and is
the home of AUDI Hamilton Island Race Week - Australia's largest
offshore sailing regatta. In the heart of the Whitsunday Islands,
on the edge of the Great Barrier Reef, there is no better
base for exploring one of the world's great sailing regions.
The completion of the Hamilton Island Yacht Club is set
to further define Australia as an international boating
mecca. A design masterpiece, the shape of the roof is inspired
by soaring silhouettes of full sails and is a celebration
of marine lifestyle.
The Hamilton Island Marina lies adjacent to the Hamilton
Island Yacht Club, and is the aquatic hub of the island
for private and charter boats exploring the Great Barrier
Reef and the other Whitsunday islands.
Many cruising yachtsmen and super yacht owners base themselves
at the marina while they explore the islands of the Whitsunday
Passage. The marina itself caters for every type of vessel.
There are 205 berths, all well protected in the case of
bad weather and with access to first-class marina facilities.
Conference facilities
Hamilton Island Yacht Club features state of the art conference
and function facilities overlooking the turquoise blue waters
of Dent Passage and an inspiring central atrium space for
events.
The Ketch & Cutter rooms feature high ceilings, natural
light and a stunning backdrop across Dent Passage to Hamilton
Island Golf Club. These rooms are ideal for premium conferences,
product launches, tradeshows and gala dinners.
The Yacht Club Auditorium features fixed, ascending theatre
style seating, perfect for meetings and presentations of
up to 70 guests.
There are a variety of other inspiring function areas including
the Flag Deck which is ideal for cocktail parties, the Signature
Bommie Restaurant, perfect for a dine around or exclusive
dinner and the private Barnacle Room designed to inspire
small incentive groups.

Gracefully positioned on the Dent Passage waterfront within
a lush tropical setting, the luxury Yacht Club Villas symbolise
the new vision for Hamilton Island. Accompanied by a waterfront
